This is the only known photo of Mrs Vera Tindill of Richmond, Melbourne. The restoration required the removal of all the crease marks while retaining the folds in her dress and the shadows falling on her. The original background was replaced with a view of clouds...thanks to Kevin & Margaret Tindill.
The brief for this job: Remove baby, add a shoulder, fix the missing part of the brim of the hat, lighten up the shadow around the eyes BUT DO NOT remove the cigarette and holder...thanks to Colin Keily.
Another example of the benefits of showing a person in isolation. The two persons standing were removed and replaced by plants. Now the focus is entirely upon Mrs Parsons...thanks to Len Parsons.
